Dragon Quest: Dai no Daibouken (2020); An Anime That I am Really Hyped About

Hello, everyone! Today I'm going to talk about Dragon Quest: Dai no Daibouken (2020) (English: Dragon Quest: The Adventure of Dai) and how much I am hyped for it and why I am hyped for it.

Although I just started watching the original, which aired from 1991-1992, I am really excited about the upcoming remake of the anime.

I have been a Dragon Quest fan since 2009 when Dragon Quest IX: Sentinels of the Starry Skies came out, although I first played Dragon Quest Heroes: Rocket Slimes, which I did not know was a Dragon Quest game until around 2017. I got really into the game because when I was seven years old, I was fascinated by the fact that I could customize my very own character. This started a long trek into the Dragon Quest fandom.

A few years later, after finally learning how to play a JRPG properly, I started to hear more about Dragon Quest. I really wanted to get the remake of Dragon Quest VI for the Nintendo DS when it came out, but unfortunately, I was unable to due to a lack of money.

Then, after years of replaying the same two Dragon Quest games, I was in a video game store, and I saw the remake of Dragon Quest VIII for the 3DS. I bought it and fell in love with Dragon Quest all over again. This recently happened with Dragon Quest XI, but I'm planning to go into details with separate reviews of each game, so if you want to hear more about my thoughts on some of the games of the Dragon Quest series, continue to look on my blog for updates for when they come out. When each review comes out, I will post links to each one.

So, let's connect my love of the Dragon Quest series and how hyped I am for the remake of Dai no Daibouken

When I first heard that Dai no Daibouken was going to come out this year, I got excited, especially since that I did not know of any prior anime relating to the series other than the film that came out last year, Dragon Quest: Your Story, which I will also write a review about. I then began to do my research and found out that the version of Dai no Daibouken had an original, which came out in 1991, as I said earlier.

I began to watch the original Dai no Daibouken and I am really enjoying it, especially since I get to see the art of Akira Toriyama and the music of Koichi Sugiyama. If you want to hear more about Dai no Daibouken (1991), then watch for updates when the review comes out! I am really hoping that the 2020 airing of Dai no Daibouken is just as good as the original. Also Dai no Daibouken is supposed to start airing October 2020. I hope that everyone tries it out when it aires!

Thank you for reading and have a wonderful day/afternoon/evening/or night!

Here is the trailer down below for those who would like a short appetizer of what is to come:
